*Both meetings are mandatory and can be completed in a single trip to Thomasville. |

| Description: |
The Informational Meeting is a time to answer all of your questions regarding the adoption process, legal and financial aspects of adoption. This meeting will begin at 2:00 PM and end approximately at 4:00 p.m.
The Parenting Training Meeting will cover the training for the
domestic adoption programs and will introduce international adoption
programs; preparation for parenting, a family physician will speak on baby
medical care & child development and our paralegal on the legal processes of
an adoption. You will hear from recent adoptive couples and birth mothers.
Information will also be given on Life Books, Sharing Sheet and Home
Studies. This meeting will begin at 9:00 AM and continue until approximately
3:30 PM. Lunch will be provided. Should you decide to pursue adoption with
An Open Door; a commitment fee of $2,000 will be due prior to the December 7th
meeting. |
