Parent Qualifications
Both Christian married couples and Christian single women
may apply for adoption from Latvia; however, single women
applicants are accepted on a limited basis.
Latvia qualifications for the age of parent vary by the
age of the adoptive child. For children under 2 years
of age, parents must be 25 - 45 years of age in order
to apply. Older applicants may be accepted for the adoption
of children over the age of 2.
